Job summary

Birmingham City University is seeking an experienced Application Analyst to support and improve a range of staff and student IT services within the IT Department. You will contribute to service monitoring, documentation, and proactive maintenance, while collaborating across the university to achieve strategic goals.

The role prioritises Microsoft 365 services, identity management, and security/compliance, with opportunities to on-board new services and work within a supportive Shared Services

Qualifications

Experience in Application/IT Support or development backgrounds.
Experience with Microsoft 365 services and identity solutions is preferred.
Foundation in ITIL-based service delivery would be ideal.

Responsibilities

Provide proactive support of core staff and student IT services.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve services and processes.
Deliver new services in partnership with project teams and maintain live service documentation.
Act as a technical resource for multiple university software services.
