Job summary

TUI Airline is seeking an experienced AOG Desk Team Leader to manage a dedicated team delivering critical aircraft parts, tooling, and logistics support. You will drive changes to improve efficiency and compliance while coordinating with the Operational Supply Chain Team and airline colleagues.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and strong communication within a unionised aviation environment, with flexible working options and a focus on safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree level / NVQ level 5 or equivalent in aviation with management experience.
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems.
• Experience delivering change in a unionised environment.
• Excellent communication, presentational and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of Human Factors within the maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team delivering aircraft parts, tooling and logistics support.
• Improve processes and deliver assigned daily work plan within timescale and budget.
• Monitor task progress and ensure Health and Safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Review staff resource plans and training matrix to ensure sufficient staffing.
• Collaborate across the airline to drive performance improvements in operations supply chain.
