Job summary

TUI Airline in the United Kingdom is seeking an AOG Desk Team Leader to head a dedicated team delivering critical aircraft parts, tooling and logistics support, minimising downtime and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

You will drive procurement process improvements, collaborate with regional teams and optimise AMOS workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Aviation background with management experience.
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems.
• Experience delivering change in a unionised environment.
• Excellent communication, presenting and negotiating skills.
• Proven ability to use analytical tools to improve performance.
• Understanding of Human Factors in maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement of general procurement processes to increase efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Ensure correct ordering, PO placement, track delivery, and AP issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Operational Supply Chain Team Leaders across the group.
• Leverage AMOS to improve processes and tools.
• Coordinate staff, provide briefings, guidance and support to meet daily plans.
• Monitor progress and complete paperwork accurately within timescales and budget.
• Ensure compliance with departmental Procedures; Health & Safety, Regulations.
• Review staffing plans and training matrices to meet requirements.
• Set targets and take action if performance falters.
• In absence of Northern Region OPS Supply Chain Manager, assume responsibility.
