Job summary

Berneslai Homes is seeking an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to investigate and manage ASB cases, helping to create safer neighbourhoods and sustain tenancies. You will advocate for customers, coordinate responses, and provide specialist advice where needed.

You will handle low to medium-level ASB cases, conduct risk assessments, and escalate when necessary, collaborating with partners to improve outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience of social housing, including anti-social behaviour, estate and tenancy management or community safety-related work.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and bespoke IT systems.
• Ability to provide customer-focused and responsive services.
• Understanding of equality and diversity in the workplace.
• Willingness to develop professionally including embracing the personal development process.
• NVQ Level 3, BTEC National Certificate or equivalent, or relevant experience or transferable skills.

The Role

As an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, you will investigate and manage anti-social behaviour cases to help create safer neighbourhoods and support customers to sustain their tenancies. You will act as an advocate for customers, resolving housing-related ASB issues, co-ordinating effective responses to tackle and prevent ASB, and providing specialist advice where required. Taking ownership of low and medium-level ASB cases, you will investigate complaints, address root causes and offer support before escalation. For more complex cases, you will use risk assessments and low-level legal interventions to help achieve effective positive outcomes. Additionally, you will:

About You

To be considered as an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, you will need:

• Experience of social housing, including anti-social behaviour, estate and tenancy management or community safety-related work
• Experience of using software applications, including Microsoft Office and bespoke IT systems
• The ability to provide customer-focused and responsive services
• An understanding of equality and diversity in the workplace
• A positive attitude towards your own development, including embracing the personal development review process
• An NVQ Level 3, BTEC National Certificate or equivalent, or relevant experience or transferable skills
