Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Antenna Engineer to join a UK-wide CDT team developing sensors for airborne platforms. You will translate requirements into antenna/rf subsystem specs and contribute to trade studies.

Using CST, FEKO and HFSS, you will analyze and optimise designs, support the lifecycle, and help set technical strategy. Hybrid working and training are available.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in physics/engineering or related science.
• PhD in related antenna/EM field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into antenna and RF subsystem specs.
• Perform antenna trade studies and technology down-select.
• Use EM tools to analyse and optimise sensor designs for platforms.
• Develop antenna/radome and frequency selective components with interfaces.
• Support antenna development through the engineering lifecycle.
• Assess system compatibility with overall performance.
