Howden Re invites driven undergraduates in their penultimate year of a STEM, Economics, or Geography degree to join a 10-week analytics programme in London. You’ll work on real client projects, learn to assess risks from events like wildfires and earthquakes, and help translate findings into clear business insights.

No prior insurance experience is required; successful participants may receive a deferred graduate offer for Autumn 2028 and benefit from structured development and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of a STEM, Economics or Geography degree.
• Minimum B grade in A-level Mathematics.
• Curious about data, research, and commercial analysis.
• Able to turn complex data and technical information into clear insights.
• Enjoy building relationships and collaborating with a range of people.

Responsibilities

• Start with a structured induction and join the Analytics team on real client projects.
• Work with experienced specialists to learn how data informs risk and business decisions.
• Assess risks from real events like wildfires and earthquakes.
• Produce reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Contribute to data quality and accuracy of risk analyses.
