Job summary

Howden Re Analytics is offering a paid 10-week summer internship in London, designed to translate data into real-world insights for the global reinsurance market. You’ll begin with a structured induction and then join the Analytics team to work on live client projects, developing skills in data interpretation and communication with stakeholders.

The programme provides training, a potential graduate offer for Autumn 2028, relocation support on a case-by-case basis, and a buddy to help you settle

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of a STEM, Economics or Geography degree.
• Curious about data, research and commercial analysis.
• Able to turn complex data into clear insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• No prior insurance experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Join Analytics team after induction and work on real client projects.
• Learn to assess risks from events like wildfires and earthquakes.
• Produce reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Work with datasets to improve risk analysis quality and accuracy.
• Translate analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with brokers and analytics specialists on client projects.
