Job summary

Howden Re Analytics offers a 10-week Analytics Summer Internship in London starting June 2027. You’ll join the Analytics team to work on real client projects, learning to assess risks from events and to translate data into meaningful insights.

The programme includes a structured induction and a pathway to Autumn 2028 graduate roles, with travel costs covered for the assessment day and a buddy support system.

Qualifications

• Be in your penultimate year of a STEM, Economics or Geography degree.
• Have achieved a minimum B grade in A-level Mathematics.
• Be curious about data, research, and commercial analysis.
• Communicate confidently and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Be able to turn complex data and technical information into clear meaningful insights.
• Enjoy building relationships and collaborating with a range of people.
• Be detail-oriented and comfortable working accurately with large amounts of information.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to assess risks from real events such as wildfires and earthquakes.
• Produce reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Work with datasets to improve the quality and accuracy of risk analysis.
• Help translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights.
• Collaborate with brokers and analytics specialists on client projects.
