Job summary

Howden is a global insurance group inviting you to join their Analytics Summer Internship Programme in London. Over a 10-week period starting June 2027, you will work on real client projects, turning data into insights and developing risk analysis skills for the reinsurance market.

This paid internship includes an induction, exposure to the reinsurance industry, and a pathway to Autumn 2028 graduate roles, subject to performance.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year in STEM, Economics or Geography.
• Minimum B grade in A-level Mathematics.
• Curious about data, research and commercial analysis.
• Enjoy building relationships and collaborating with a range of people.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to assess risks from real events such as wildfires and earthquakes.
• Produce reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Work with datasets to improve the quality and accuracy of risk analysis.
• Help translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights.
• Collaborate with brokers and analytics specialists on client projects.
