Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting for an Analytical Laboratory Technician to join a resin and composites company on a 6-month contract. The role is site based in Heanor, Derbyshire. You will perform analytical testing, mainly by thermal analysis and HPLC, with potential FT-IR work.

Day-to-day tasks include data gathering, logging results, and keeping the lab tidy. DBS check may be required. The ideal candidate has A-levels or equivalent in Chemistry/Maths/Physics and experience with HPLC or thermal

Qualifications

• A-levels or similar qualification in Chemistry, Maths, Physics or similar.
• Experience with HPLC or any thermal analysis would be advantageous.
• Good eye for detail & team player

Our client is an advanced materials and speciality chemical company focused on the manufacture of resins.

Salary:

£13.70 per hour

Analytical Laboratory Technician Role:

• Analytical testing of epoxy resins mostly by thermal analysis and HPLC but the job could also involve FT-IR
• Data gathering, logging results and paper work associated with testing
• General housekeeping of laboratory
• Opportunity to be involved in method improvements

Your Background:

• A-levels or similar qualification in Chemistry, Math's, Physics or similar
• Experience with the following analytical techniques HPLC or any thermal analysis would be advantageous
• Good eye for detail & team player
