Job summary

Network Scientific Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Laboratory Analyst for a contract testing organisation near Reading. This full-time role involves lab-based analytical work and data interpretation, with documentation and collaboration with study directors to ensure timely, high-quality client studies.

You should hold a degree in a scientific discipline, have practical lab experience, and show strong communication and time-management skills. Desirable: HPLC/GC experience and GLP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree level or above in a relevant scientific discipline (ideally Chemistry).
• Practical laboratory experience and good bench skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, investigative and analytical skills.
• Highly advantageous – practical experience with HPLC + GC and knowledge of GLP.

A highly successful contract testing organisation are seeking a Graduate Laboratory Analyst to join the team at their site near reading. The company provide analytical testing services to the Chemical Industry and you will be working on a variety of client’s studies. Role Overview

• Permanent , Full Time (mon-fri 9-5, 37.5 hours per week) £25,000pa.
• Lab Based analytical work utilising a range of bench and chromatographic techniques.
• Completion of related documentation and data interpretation
• Work closely with study directors and other scientists to ensure client’s studies are delivered on time to excellent standard of quality.

Requirements

• Educated to Degree level or above in a relevant scientific discipline (ideally Chemistry related)
• Practical Laboratory experience and good basic lab/bench skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, investigative and analytical skills.
• Highly Advantageous but not essential – Practical Experience with HPLC + GC and knowledge of GLP.
