Job summary

Mase Consulting Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for analytical instruments to cover the Northern UK from a home office. You will drive sales of high-value lab instruments (£10K–£60K) with a 1–12 week cycle, and build relationships with labs and academics.

After training, you will meet clients 3–4 days a week, travel as needed, and work toward annual targets. The role includes uncapped bonus, hybrid company car, expense card, healthcare, and a strong training program.

Qualifications

• Degree level education in a hard science discipline such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, or affiliated.
• 1–2 years of scientific sales experience preferred in lab equipment/analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of analytical instruments valued £10K–£60K with a 1–12 week cycle.
• Covering the North from a home office; meet clients 3–4 days per week.
• Lead generation, client presentations, demonstrations, quotations, and closing sales.
