Job summary

Mase Consulting Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager for Analytical Instruments. The role is based from a home office and covers the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with 3–4 days on the road meeting clients.

The successful candidate will develop sales of analytical instruments ranging from £10K to £60K with a 1–12 week sales cycle, handling both new business and account management, and engaging Lab Manager and Operator level customers while aiming to

Qualifications

2 years' scientific sales experience.
Experience selling lab equipment / analytical instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate from a home office and cover the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland with 3-4 days on the road.
Develop sales of analytical instruments (£10K–£60K) with a 1–12 week sales cycle.
Hybrid role with both new business and account management responsibilities.
Sell to Lab Manager and Operator level customers.
Generate and attend face-to-face and virtual meetings, produce quotations and close sales.
Work toward annual sales objectives and build relationships across industry (80%) and academia (20%).
