An exciting opportunity has arisen in Performance and Data Analytics within the Kent Analytical Team for a Data Analyst to play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights. Data is at the heart of our department, and we see the ability to embed data‑driven insight into the fabric of daily management as a core driver of operational policing. As a Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of facilitating data‑driven decision making across the force, working closely with senior leadership to structure, analyse and drive outcomes for complex and strategic problems.
You will design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide critical insights. You will work closely with internal and external customers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and create data models and visualisations that help drive performance and decision‑making.
You will be required to present and visualise reports and findings in a way which resonates with both technical and non‑technical audiences at the appropriate level to ensure they are kept updated on areas of tactical and strategic risk.
