About this Job

Anthesis’ business intelligence team is seeking highly motivated graduates to join our team of investigative due diligence researchers. We focus on Governance, investigating issues such as corruption, the corporate-political nexus, and integrity across the globe. Candidates should have completed or be studying towards a qualitative research degree in fields like history, politics, languages, or similar, and be fluent in at least one foreign language.

Languages of particular interest include Arabic, German, Russian, Mandarin, Turkish, Spanish, and Portuguese.

The Role

Analysts start in open source due diligence, producing reports on compliance red flags like corruption, political exposure, and sanctions. They work across jurisdictions, developing regional expertise based on language and regional knowledge. As they gain experience, analysts handle more complex projects, develop regional expertise, and may take on training and business development roles. The role offers a foundation for career progression within Anthesis.

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Interest in due diligence and compliance risks; experience in research is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in at least one of the target languages.
  • Excellent research, writing, and attention to detail skills.
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
