THE ROLE:

The DAZN BET’s BI Analyst/Engineer role is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights. This role involves using statistical tools, programming languages, and data visualization techniques to support data-driven decision-making. The role ensures that data flows smoothly from source to destination, making it accessible for other analysts.

As our new BI Analyst/Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to:

1. Data Collection and Processing: Gather data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets), clean and validate it to ensure accuracy, and prepare it for analysis.
2. Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods, algorithms, and analytical techniques to analyze data sets. Identify significant trends, patterns, and relationships.
3. Data Visualization: Create detailed and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom dashboards to present findings clearly.
4. Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
5. Design and Build Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to understand their data needs and provide relevant analyses.

You'll have:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Data Visualization: Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to create compelling visual narratives.
• Data Modelling: Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
