Our Building Services business unit is looking for a Digital Solutions Specialist to join the team at our head office in Leavesden, Watford.

The purpose of the role is to effectively and professionally support the development and implementation of digital solutions within the business, taking the lead on developing quality business intelligence digital solutions and automation to meet Building Services requirements.

You’ll:

• Import, cleanse, transform, and validate data to support business decision-making.
• Present data visualizations using charts, graphs, tables, and tools such as Power BI or Airtable.
• Perform routine statistical analysis and respond to ad-hoc queries.
• Utilize analytical techniques like data mining, time series forecasting, and modeling to identify and predict trends.
• Report findings using statistical software tools.
• Summarize and present results to stakeholders with recommendations.
• Ensure data and performance processes align with Skanska IT procedures.
• Analyze information to identify root causes, trends, and develop improvement plans.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Power Platforms.
• Understanding of statistical methods such as regression, classification, simulation, optimization, and machine learning.
• Problem-solving skills for complex issues and pragmatic solutions.
• Experience with Python or R is welcomed.
• Advanced numerical skills in mathematics, logic, and statistics.
