Job summary

East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust in Stevenage is seeking a Day Controller/Planner to oversee daily patient journeys, using the cleric system and KPIs. You will coordinate ambulance resources and volunteer drivers to ensure timely patient transport and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Geographical knowledge of West Essex, Hertfordshire and outlying areas.
• Calm approach under pressure.
• Customer service skills liaising with patients, clinics and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and plan patient journeys on the day using the cleric system and KPIs.
• Monitor journey times and proactively rearrange journeys to optimise service and patient experience.
• Manage PTS ambulance resources, including volunteer drivers, for the current day.
