Job summary

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Planning Team Leader to coordinate and guide Resource Planners, ensuring accurate recording of hours and efficient rota management using the GRS system.

You will lead a busy team, analyse planning data for reports, and work with Operations, HR and Payroll to optimise workforce deployment. NHS values and on-site collaboration shape the role.

Qualifications

• Educated to diploma level or equivalent; experience in an administrative or corporate services environment.
• Experience analysing and interpreting complex information and producing assessments or reports for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination and guidance to Resource Planners.
• Oversee accurate recording of staff working hours and patterns.
• Support management and uploading of operational rotas using the Trust's workforce system (GRS).
• Manage abstractions in line with Trust policy to optimise unit hours for patients.
• Collaborate with operations, HR, Payroll, IT and Predictive Analytics.
