EMED Group in Abingdon is seeking compassionate Ambulance Care Assistants to transport patients to appointments and between facilities. You will need a full UK manual driving licence, be physically fit, and demonstrate excellent communication with patients and their relatives.

Full training is provided; shifts run evenings and weekends (05:00–01:00). The role offers benefits and a chance to significantly impact patient care across UK healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence required.
• Able to work flexible shifts 05:00–01:00, Mon–Sun.
• Committed to patient care and compassionate approach.

• Pass Enhanced DBS check (company funded).
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive patients to and from appointments and between facilities, with or without a colleague.
• Assist with lifting and transferring patients in and out of the Ambulance.
• Hand over patients to appropriate staff on arrival at treatment centres.
• Transfer patients between beds, stretchers, and chairs as required.
• Maintain ambulance safety, cleanliness and tidiness.
