EMED Group in Worcester is inviting applications for a full-time Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team. The role is focused on transporting patients to appointments and between facilities, with two-person crews or solo work, requiring a full UK driving licence and good physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Commitment to patient care
• Effective communication in often emotional situations
• Calm, careful driver with a clean licence (≤3 penalty points)

Responsibilities

• Transport elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to and from medical appointments and between facilities
• Assist with lifting, securing and moving patients in and out of the Ambulance
• Hand over patients to staff on arrival at treatment centres or to family/friends at home
• Keep ambulance clean, safe and well maintained
