Job summary

Hunter Savage in Omagh is seeking a Graduate / Junior Quantity Surveyor to assist with the commercial management of projects from tendering through to final account.

The role offers exposure to estimating, procurement, contract management, and cost control with opportunities for career progression. You will contribute to monthly CVRs and project cash flow forecasts and learn to monitor costs and manage procurement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a Construction-related discipline with commercial experience.
• 1+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of construction costs, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of commercial management services for all tendering and projects.
• Help prepare timely internal commercial reporting, including monthly CVRs and project cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
• Manage procurement processes, including negotiation with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts, ensuring timely payment and final account agreement.
