Inform3 Recruitment is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for Omagh to manage the financial aspects of civil engineering projects, from initial cost estimates to final accounts. You will handle contract administration, procurement, and cost control, liaising with customers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and at least 3 years in the civils sector, with strong Excel/Word proficiency and teamwork.

Formación

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 years of civils sector experience.
• Strong teamwork and motivation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with customers and project managers.
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects with customers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope.
• Check project costs and raise/resolve queries as needed.
• Attend pre-contract meetings and liaise with construction professionals to ensure timely actions.
• Produce and maintain procurement schedules.
• Issue invitations to tender, analyse quotations and advise on orders.
• Compile subcontract orders for approval.
• Visit site to measure and value works.
• Assess subcontractor payments and process payments.
• Reconcile cost and value to date/forecast for management review.
• Support office/site teams and assist in mentoring junior surveyors.
