Job summary

Domus Recruitment is assisting a 12-bed residential service in Bridlington to recruit a Deputy Manager. You will support the Registered Manager by leading the team and delivering safe, person-centered care in a hands-on role.

You will work closely with families and professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes, while also handling office-based responsibilities and rota management. A strong track record in adult social care and a Level 3 NVQ are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in adult social care, ideally in a leadership or senior support role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding and person-centred support.
  • Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Acquired Brain Injuries or Mental Health needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence managing rotas, systems and day-to-day service operations.
  • Ability to support, motivate and develop colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work towards or complete a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care is desirable.
  • Experience undertaking audits, action planning and quality improvement activities is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager at a 12-bed residential service in Bridlington.

The service supports adults with Prader Willi Syndrome, dual diagnosis and complex needs, providing a safe, structured and person-centred environment. The people supported are encouraged to build independence, develop daily living skills and achieve their personal goals, with a range of activities taking place both within the service and in the local community.

We are looking for an experienced care professional with a background in adult social care who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career. This is a hands-on leadership role, working actively alongside the team on the rota while also having dedicated time for office-based responsibilities.

Working closely with the Registered Manager, families, professionals and other stakeholders, you will help ensure the people supported receive high-quality care and achieve positive outcomes.
