Job summary

King-Edward is seeking an enthusiastic Alumni Relations Officer in Bath to strengthen relationships with alumni through engaging communications, events and volunteering opportunities while supporting the Development Office.

The role is permanent, full-time (or 0.8 FTE, 29.6 hours/week) with 37 hours per week and occasional evenings/weekends; interviews 14th & 15th October. Reporting to the Development Director, the position involves GDPR compliance and data management.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience of planning events and delivering multi-channel communications.
• Confident using CRM databases and analysing data.
• Strong IT, organisational and administrative skills.
• A proactive, accurate and collaborative approach.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging alumni communications across email, print, web and social media.
• Plan and deliver reunions, networking events and other alumni activities.
• Build strong relationships with alumni, volunteers and ambassadors.
• Maintain accurate alumni records and produce engagement reports.
• Support fundraising, careers and wider community initiatives.
• Ensure activity complies with GDPR and the School’s data protection procedures.
