Job summary

King Edward’s School, Bath seeks an enthusiastic Alumni Relations Officer to strengthen ties with our growing alumni network through engaging communications, events and volunteering opportunities, while supporting the Development Office’s aims.

You will develop multi-channel alumni communications, plan reunions and other activities, build relationships with alumni and volunteers, and manage engagement data to support fundraising and career initiatives, ensuring GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience of planning events and delivering multi-channel communications.
• Confident using CRM databases and analysing data.
• Strong IT, organisational and administrative skills.
• A proactive, accurate and collaborative approach.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging alumni communications across email, print, web and social media.
• Plan and deliver reunions, networking events and other alumni activities.
• Build strong relationships with alumni, volunteers and ambassadors.
• Maintain accurate alumni records and produce engagement reports.
• Support fundraising, careers and wider community initiatives.
• Ensure activity complies with GDPR and the School’s data protection procedures.
