Job summary

King Edward's School, Bath is seeking an enthusiastic Alumni Relations Officer to strengthen ties with its alumni community through engaging communications, events and volunteering opportunities, while supporting the Development Office.

This permanent role is full-time (or 0.8 FTE) with pattern to be discussed at interview, offering a busy and rewarding environment within the Operational Teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience of planning events and delivering multi-channel communications.
• Confident using CRM databases and analysing data.
• Strong IT, organisational and administrative skills.
• A proactive, accurate and collaborative approach.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging alumni communications across email, print, web and social media.
• Plan and deliver reunions, networking events and other alumni activities.
• Build strong relationships with alumni, volunteers and ambassadors.
• Maintain accurate alumni records and produce engagement reports.
• Support fundraising, careers and wider community initiatives.
• Ensure activity complies with GDPR and the School’s data protection procedures.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Alumni Relations Officer to strengthen relationships with our alumni community through engaging communications, events and volunteering opportunities, while supporting the wider aims of the Development Office.

Permanent, full-time (or part time 0.8, 29.6 hours per week)

37 hours per week (08.30-4.30 Monday-Thursday, 08.30-4.00 Friday) plus occasional evenings & weekend days
52 weeks per year
