Job summary

TeacherActive in Monmouth is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a mainstream primary school. The role focuses on children with additional learning needs, providing classroom assistance and helping pupils engage with their learning and development.

Start ASAP with a PAYE arrangement. Looking for patient, nurturing communicators who work well in a team and can adapt support to individual needs.

Qualifications

Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

Are you looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant role within a mainstream primary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Monmouth. The school provides a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and engagement with education.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis, starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will work with children with additional learning needs / ALN, providing appropriate classroom support and helping pupils to engage with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting
• Experience supporting children with ALN
• An understanding of how to adapt support to individual needs
• A patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and proactive attitude
