Job summary

Hoop Education is seeking ALN Teachers to support learners across SEN, Primary, Secondary and FE settings in Cardiff and surrounding areas. Roles available part-time and full-time with competitive pay and ongoing team support.

Ideal candidates hold a PGCE/PCET or equivalent, with ALN classroom experience and strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. A patient, adaptable approach will help every learner succeed.

Qualifications

• PGCE/PCET qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching ALN in school-based settings.
• Experience supporting ALN pupils 1:1 or in groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, supportive and adaptable approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lesson delivery and manage classroom behaviour.
• Help prepare learning materials and maintain an engaging environment.
• Encourage inclusion and monitor pupil progress.
• Share feedback with teachers and parents on pupil progress.
• Collaborate with other staff and school teams.
