Job summary

Bridgend College is seeking Learning Support Assistants to join the ALN team on Bridgend and Pencoed campuses. You will provide personalised learning support and personal care to students with ALN, helping them develop skills, confidence and independence across the college.

Applicants should have a minimum grade C in Maths and English or Welsh and a relevant Level 2 qualification, with good IT, communication and note-taking abilities. EWC registration is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade C Maths and English or Welsh and a relevant Level 2 qualification.
• Registration as an FE Learning Support worker with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) before start.
• Good IT, communication and note-taking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised learning support to students with ALN across Bridgend College campuses.
• Support students in developing skills, confidence and independence.
• Provide practical support, personal care, note-taking, reading, prompting/scribing as needed.
