Job summary

Farnborough Airport Limited is seeking an Airport Operations Officer to join the Operations team. You will help coordinate daily aircraft movements and ensure prompt handling requests. You will liaise with operators and crews, maintain high service standards, and follow safety, compliance and GDPR policies.

Qualifications

• Evidence of right to work in the UK.
• Full 5-year employment/educational history with no unaccounted-for gaps.
• Clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) to required security clearance level.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Able to deal with unexpected situations calmly and logically.
• Multitasker – able to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive – shows initiative and thinks ahead to take action.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and accurately to handling requests.
• Coordinate the daily movement schedule to optimise the operational day.
• Ensure relevant regulations are followed at all times.
• Sort, collate and transfer information into the FBO's computer system.
• Review operator/crew requirements and act accordingly.
• Communicate with incoming/outgoing aircraft and provide services promptly.
• Deliver safe, fast, and efficient aircraft handling.
• Arrange third-party bookings (hotel, catering, transport).
• Liaise with operators to deliver high standards of personalised service.
• Communicate with stakeholders about flight requests.
• Act as the first point of contact for crew and represent the airport's standards.
• Maintain professional services and attention to detail, following company values.
• Participate in volunteering opportunities and follow safety, compliance and GDPR policies.
