Job summary

The Boeing Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead a small group of aircraft technicians within the MRO organisation. You will plan, sequence and distribute work, ensure compliance with MAA MRP Part 145 and company procedures, and mentor apprentices while upholding high safety and quality standards.

You must hold an appropriate trade apprenticeship and be eligible for UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Recognised trade apprenticeship or trade training equivalent.
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and processes.
• Experience in either commercial or defence would be considered.
• Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Be an effective team member displaying Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD approval.
• Assembly, disassembly, modification or repair of aircraft systems/structures/electronics/components.
• Perform routine troubleshooting of complex aircraft systems and isolate faults.
• Be flexible with work locations and work times to ensure aircraft are delivered on time.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to peers and others in the role.
• Supervise and mentor Boeing Apprentices or Trainees as required.
• Contribute to open reporting culture and continuous improvement.
