Job summary

Boeing UK Defence maintains and supports major UK programmes. The Avionic Supervisor will lead a small team of technicians, plan and sequence maintenance work, ensure proper documentation and compliance, and mentor apprentices while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires good communication, ability to interpret technical documents, and willingness to work across locations to meet customer needs, with eligibility to obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in either commercial or defence environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD customer."
• Assemble, disassemble, modify or repair aircraft systems/structures/electronics/components.
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems to isolate faults and repair components as per maintenance documents.
• Be flexible with work locations and hours to ensure on-time delivery to the customer.
• Mentor peers and contribute to safety and quality culture.
• Oversee and mentor apprentices or trainees as directed.
