Job summary

The Boeing Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technician to join the Maintenance, Repair and Operations team within Boeing Defence UK. You will perform maintenance tasks, interpret technical data and ensure all work is correctly certified in line with authorisations.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork and practical aviation maintenance knowledge, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and mentoring of apprentices and trainees.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Trade apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings and publications.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance tasks as directed by a Supervisor and ensure work is compliant with Approved Technical Data and authorisations.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance to meet individual schedule milestones and maintain first‑time quality and output.
  • Disassemble, repair or modify aircraft systems/structures/electronics as required.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems to isolate faults and perform repairs.
