Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Associate Director or Technical Director to join our Air Quality team. You will lead complex air quality projects across infrastructure, transport, energy, and government sectors in the UK and beyond, combining technical excellence with commercial awareness.

The role offers hybrid working with flexible schedules, opportunities to mentor colleagues, develop client relationships and help grow WSP's air quality capabilities, while maintaining high QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc or above) in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Chartered status with a professional institution preferred.
• Proven track record delivering complex air quality projects.
• Strong client relationship management and bid/tender experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex air quality projects and programmes.
• Provide technical direction across air quality assessments and modelling.
• Mentor and develop colleagues within the Air Quality team.
• Support business development and major bids.
• Represent WSP in client meetings and industry events.
