Qualifications

• Aerospace field experience preferred.
• Extensive customer service experience within Freight forwarding required.
• Excellent knowledge of international and domestic airline routings, geography and time zones.
• Understanding of the Aviation industry and delivering Time Critical shipments using all available services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
• Good written and verbal communications skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and enhances customer services by ensuring procedures are followed and systems used correctly.
• Follow any new systems procedures within the department.
• Answering the phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Take job orders from clients, including routing, service type, and deadlines.
• Provide clients with continuous notifications and follow-up (flight and customs delays, proofs of deliveries, charges, resolutions).
• Familiarize yourself with special services offered and ensure customers are given all options.
• Help develop and maintain relationships with clients and ensure communication with service partners is up to date.

We're hiring! Sterling UK Control Tower is seeking a new addition to join our Aerospace International team. The Aerospace International Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our customers experience is a positive one each and every time they engage with Sterling, providing operational and customer care excellence. Please note that the shift pattern is Tuesday - Saturday.

How you create impact

• Maintains and enhances customer services by ensuring procedures are followed and systems used correctly


• Follow any new systems procedures within the department

• To assist in providing clients with continuous notification and follow-up (which includes flight and customs delays, proof of deliveries, charges, resolutions, etc)

• Ensuring communication with service partners is kept up to date

What we would like you to bring

• Experience in Aerospace field is preferred
