Job summary

CEVA Logistics is recruiting an Air Export Team Leader for our London Skyline Office to drive operational excellence in air exports and deliver first-class service to customers. You will oversee the day-to-day export operation, coach a team of export coordinators, ensure shipments meet airline timelines and customer deadlines, and act as a key escalation point with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Proven air export operations experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring.
• Strong understanding of airline requirements, cargo handling, export documentation, and compliance incl. DG, customs, security.
• Experience with freight-based systems and airline portals.
• Residence in the UK for at least 5 years due to security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of export coordinators to deliver high-quality performance.
• Manage daily workloads ensuring shipments meet airline timelines and customer deadlines.
• Act as the primary escalation point for key customers, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
• Oversee export documentation including checks, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Coordinate with airlines, general sales agents, and handling agents to secure bookings and manage uplift.
• Ensure full compliance, security and regulations are managed and administered.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve service and operational performance.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements across processes and service delivery.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.
• Work closely with internal teams across warehouses, import, finance, and customer service.
