Job summary

CEVA Logistics UK&I is hiring an experienced Air Import Operator based in Hounslow to join a busy team handling import shipments from start to finish and ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00. You will coordinate airline bookings, prepare import documentation, work with customs, and support costing and billing. Freight forwarding experience and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in air freight forwarding.
• Ability to handle import documentation and airline bookings.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage air export shipments from start to finish, ensuring smooth, compliant and efficient operations.
• Complete accurate import customs declarations in line with HMRC regulations and maintain high standards of compliance and record keeping.
• Monitor shipments, manage milestones, identify and resolve delays or operational issues, and keep customers proactively informed from collection through to departure and arrival.
• Support costing and billing activities, ensuring job files, shipment records and financial information are accurate and complete.
