Right Now Group is collaborating with a large international forwarder aiming to expand their Gateway division. They are seeking to hire a new Air Export Coordinator, preferably with experience in Gateway operations. The role involves managing export shipments, focusing on rate negotiation and relationship building.

Responsibilities of an Air Export Coordinator:

• Prepare and process all necessary export documentation for cargo transit.
• Ensure timely completion of customs declarations and security screenings.
• Issue check certificates and follow established SOPs.
• Create accurate accruals and respond to disruptions by recovering compromised route plans.
• Negotiate spot rates, manage allocation changes, and optimize processes.
• Support the safe and compliant build-up of Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and manage ULD inventory.
• Maintain a safe working environment by addressing unsafe practices and ensuring adherence to ISO 45001 standards, safety policies, and procedures.

Requirements of an Air Export Coordinator:

• Experience working with carriers, ground handlers, and export gateways.
• Proficiency in using freight management or transport systems (e.g., CargoWise or similar).
• Familiarity with HMRC export procedures and compliance regulations, including ETSF and aviation security standards.
• Solid understanding of export documentation, including airway bills (AWBs).

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Feltham / Hounslow

Shift:

• Week 1 - Tuesday to Saturday (10 am - 6:30 pm)
• Week 2 - Monday to Friday (9 am - 5:30 pm)
