Excel Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Air Conditioning Apprentice / Trainee Engineer to join their team. You will be involved in maintenance across VRV/VRF and split systems, with installation support for domestic and commercial settings, while learning from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Recognised air conditioning qualifications including F-Gas and City & Guilds NVQ or equivalent.
• Experience on air conditioning contracts advantageous but not essential.
• Motivated and trustworthy; looking to progress in a mobile maintenance role.
• Willing to learn and develop under mentorship across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative planned maintenance on air conditioning appliances as per schedules.
• Assist with installation of new air conditioning systems in domestic and commercial settings.
• Work on systems such as VRV/VRF and split units; clean filters and replace belts as needed.
• Learn under an experienced engineer and progress toward becoming a HVAC engineer.
• Cover a mobile area across Surrey, Hampshire, London and surrounding regions.

SALARY: 25- 28k + van/fuel card (van can be used for personal use), health care, employee trust scheme, pension

LOCATION: Surrey, Reading, Middx, west/soutwest London - south coast

JOB INFORMATION - Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer / Air Con Improver

• Our client is expanding due to new contracts and are seeking an Air conditioning apprentice/Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer to join the team
• Working on a mobile basis you would be responsible for carrying out preventative planned maintenance according to schedules on a wide range of air conditioning appliances . You would work with another engineer learning whilst assiting them on site.
• You would also assist with the installation of new air conditioning systems in both domestic and commercial settings.
• As an Air conditioning apprentice/Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer you would carry out maintenance on systems such as VRV's, VRF's, Splits etc. - Cleaning filters, changing belts and so on
• There would be opportunity to train and develop further as an air conditioning / HVAC engineer whilst being mentored by an experienced engineer.
• Covering west of the M25, Surrey, Hampshire, London and surrounding areas you would be responsible for carrying out air conditioning works contracts for a variety of contracts

CANDIDATE INFORMATION - Air conditioning apprentice/Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer

• Good customer services skills well-presented and articulate with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Recognised air conditioning qualifications including F-Gas, City & Guilds NVQ or training in somethign relevent such as electrical or heating/ventilation would be advantageous
• Experience of working on air conditioning contracts previously would advantageous but not essential
• Some knowledge of air conditioning appliances including splits, VRV, VRF, Split systems etc.
• Motivated and trustworthy
• Must be looking to progress with a forward thinking up and coming business.
