Job summary

Excel Engineering Recruitment LTD is seeking an Air Conditioning Installer who will operate on a mobile basis from a home base, undertaking installations for commercial, retail, domestic and leisure clients in the Cambridgeshire area.

Applicants should hold recognised air conditioning qualifications (f‑Gas, City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent) and demonstrate strong customer service, drawing on the ability to read drawings and execute precise installations.

Qualifications

• Recognised air conditioning qualifications including f‑Gas, City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent would be essential.
• Good customer services skills, well presented and articulate with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Experience of working on air conditioning installation contracts/projects with the ability read drawings and follow them.
• Attention to detail and a pride in a tidy finish will be essential due to the nature of some of the sites.
• Good working knowledge on a wide range of air conditioning appliances including splits, VRV, VRF, Split systems etc
• Motivated and trustworthy
• The successful candidate will have good mentoring skills and enjoying supporting and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Based from home and working on a mobile basis you would be responsible for carrying installations of air conditioning appliances for commercial, retail, domestic and leisure customers.
• You will work alongside an air conditioning trainee/improver/mate who will assist with the installations.
• Overtime is available and plentiful.
• The work will all be local, no staying away!
