Job summary

Engineering Personnel Ltd are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a reputable HVAC contractor based in Shaftesbury. The role involves service, maintenance, fault-finding on commercial AC systems, and occasional upgrades to improve energy efficiency.

You will work Mon-Fri, 8:00–17:00, with a company van for work and personal use, and opportunities for training and progression. Applicants should have NVQ2 in Air Conditioning and F-Gas 2079, with 2+ years' field experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas 2079 certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as Air Conditioning Engineer.
• Based in Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, or Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and fault‑finding on AC systems including splits, VRV/VRF.
• Complete system upgrades and energy efficiency improvements.
• Commission and test new installations.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions.
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service in commercial properties and occasionally domestic sites.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
• Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with the office team.

Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer required for our client they are a well known, reputable, and award winning HVAC contractor based in Shaftesbury. They operate across the South Coast, primarily the south central area providing 24/7 emergency services, planned preventative maintenance, system design and installation works. They're currently looking to expand on their air conditioning maintenance and repairs team due to recent contract wins.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Full UK Driving License

Remuneration

• Salary £45,000 - £55,000
• Company van, including personal use
• Overtime available
• Working hours Mon - Fri, 8:00 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)
