Job summary

Airco Refrigeration And Airconditioning Ltd in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer. You will diagnose faults, perform scheduled maintenance, and support a prestigious client base across multiple sectors.

The role involves 24hr call-out duties and working to high safety and workmanship standards. The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, with F-Gas/EN 378 compliance, and has hands-on experience with VRV systems,

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Proficient technical knowledge in refrigeration & electrical principles.
• Hands-on experience with VRV systems, cold rooms, close control units, chilled water systems and chillers.
• Fault finding experience on range of equipment, including data centre cooling & water chillers.
• Good understanding of industry standards, legislation and compliance requirements.
• Positive and pro-active approach.
• Well-organised and effective communicator.
• High level of professionalism & customer service.
• Flexible

Job Overview

Airco are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer, with a positive and pro-active approach to ensure effective service delivery to our clients.

We work for a prestigious customer base in a wide range of sectors including; pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, telecoms, education, IT, retail, healthcare & local authorities

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced F-Gas Airconditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to support our growing Engineering team.

You will be part of a team of Engineers who support Airco in providing a service to our growing and highly prestigious client base in South Yorkshire. The role will be very varied from carrying out planned and preventative maintenance to responding to service calls.

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Up to £21 per hour – dependent on Experience
