Airco Refrigeration And Airconditioning Ltd are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their Midlands-based engineering team. The role covers planned maintenance and responsive service for a prestigious client base across pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, IT, healthcare and local authorities.

You will diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and work to the highest safety and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & AC; F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Proficient knowledge of refrigeration and electrical principles.
• Hands-on with VRV systems, cold rooms, close control units, and chillers.
• Fault finding on equipment including data centre cooling and water chillers.
• Knowledge of industry standards, legislation and compliance.
• Positive, pro-active, well-organised and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on on-site equipment and provide effective solutions.
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
• Work to high workmanship and safety standards.
• Participate in 24-hour call-out rota.
• Assist in site surveys, prepare reports and quotes for customers.

Airco are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer, with a positive and pro-active approach to ensure effective service delivery to our clients.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced F-Gas Airconditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to support our growing Engineering team.

You will be part of a team of Engineers who support Airco in providing a service to our growing and highly prestigious client base in the Midlands. The role will be very varied from carrying out planned and preventative maintenance to responding to service calls.

Location: Midlands

Salary: Up to £22 per hour – dependent on Experience

Key requirements.

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant
• Proficient technical knowledge in refrigeration & electrical principles
• An individual with hands-on experience working with VRV systems, cold rooms, close control units, chilled water systems, and chillers.
• Fault finding experience on range of equipment, including data centre cooling & water chillers
• Good understanding of industry standards, legislation and compliance requirements
