Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing West Yorkshire team, covering Leeds area. You will service, maintain, repair and install commercial AC systems across customer sites including retail, care homes and hospitality venues.

You will work independently and as part of a professional team, ensuring safety, quality and customer service while meeting H&S targets and providing technical expertise within the regional team.

Qualifications

• F-Gas (2079) Cat 1 required.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or time served.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent required.
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers and AHUs.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Able to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
• Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
• Work on split systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.
• Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
• Provide information for quotations including parts, labour and equipment.
• Meet targets for Health & Safety, quality, compliance and profitability.
• Act as a technical expert within the regional team.

About the Role

Responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, fault-finding and installing commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites. Includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs in the Leeds area.

You'll work independently and as part of a professional team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.
