Job summary

Kraft Recruitment is seeking an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to service, maintain and install AC and refrigeration equipment for a respected family business. Based in Southampton, you will cover Hampshire and surrounding areas with a 40-hour core week (08:30-17:00) and overtime opportunities.

DBS checks are funded by the business, and a company vehicle may be provided. Applicants must be fully City & Guilds Level 2 AC&R or NVQ equivalent with 3–5 years' experience and FGAS

Qualifications

• Fully qualified in City and Guilds Level 2 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration/NVQ equivalent with minimum three; preferably five years' work experience within the field.
• FGas certified.
• PASMA trained (preferable).
• Full driving licence.
• Regular enhanced DBS checks funded by the business.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, service and installation of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on all types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Dealing with emergency call outs on a standby rota basis (1 in 6).
• Maintaining good customer relationships with good communication skills.
• Based in Southampton and mainly operating within Hampshire and the surrounding areas (no London work).
• Basic 40 hr week (core hours 08.30 - 17.00) plus overtime available at time and half and double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Education

City and Guilds Level 2 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration / NVQ equivalent

FGas certified

PASMA trained (preferable)

Full driving licence

Regular enhanced DBS checks funded by the business

An Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer position is available with my client who are well established and respected in the service, maintenance, and installation of all types of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment. They are looking for a skilled engineer to join their team and help service our expanding and longstanding client base.
