Job summary

RECRUITMENT HELPLINE in Manchester and surrounding areas seeks an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to diagnose faults, repair equipment and carry out preventative maintenance. The role is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary. You will work on various RAC systems, require FGAS C&G 2079, a clean DBS, and a full driving licence. The package includes a company van, pension and an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Minimum Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas) certification.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, display cabinets, cold-rooms, chillers.
• A/C experience on split systems, VRV, AHU.
• Driving licence and DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and provide effective repairs and solutions.
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
• Complete all documents related to reactive and planned maintenance.
• Liaise with clients to maintain excellent relations.
• Work safely following internal health & safety processes.

Key Duties

• Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and repairs.
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
• Complete all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works.
• Liaise closely with the client (Commercial clients) to maintain excellent customer relations.
• Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum Refrigeration Handling C & G 2079 (FGas).
• An individual who has previously worked on a variety of Refrigeration Systems, Fridge, Freezers, Display Cabinets, Cold-rooms, Chillers.
• Air-conditioning experience on Split A/C Systems also VRV, AHU.
• Mechanical and Electrical Skills.
• Full Driving licence.
• Clean Enhanced DBS.
