The role covers the South Coast & London regions, with responsibilities from planning to completion and ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Candidates will install systems, carry out site surveys, manage their own diary, order materials, and hand over projects. Benefits include a company van and enhanced overtime rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing air conditioning systems.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own diary.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Experience ordering materials and coordinating installations.
• Good IT skills and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
• Carry out pre-installation site surveys and plan workload.
• Source and order materials for each project.
• Test, commission and hand over completed systems.
• Complete job documentation and certification using digital systems.
• Liaise with customers, site teams and the office throughout each project.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations and safety guidelines.
• Identify and report additional works where appropriate.

Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Location: New Forest (covering the South Coast & London)

Artisan Recruit is working with a well-established building services contractor to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that delivers high-quality air conditioning installations across commercial and residential projects throughout the South Coast and London.

The successful candidate will enjoy a high level of autonomy, managing their own installations from planning through to completion while delivering exceptional standards of workmanship and customer service.

The Role

As an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you will:

• Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
• Carry out pre-installation site surveys.
• Plan and manage your own workload and travel schedule.
• Source and order materials required for each project.
• Test, commission and hand over completed systems.
• Complete job documentation and certification using digital systems.
• Liaise with customers, site teams and the office throughout each project.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current F-Gas regulations, Health & Safety requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Identify and report any additional works where appropriate.
