ECG Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems across the UK. You will operate as part of a mobile team, logging jobs and completing compliance paperwork on a tablet, while supporting mechanical and plumbing tasks as needed.

We require a minimum of 5 years’ experience, an approved AC apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2 and F-Gas certification.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Design & installation, after care service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems carrying out the service and maintenance of a multitude of equipment ranging from commercial equipment including cold rooms, ice machines, VRV & VRF Indoor and Outdoor Units, Heat Recovery Units, leak testing systems etc.

Maintenance, repairs and all general Air Conditioning duties, including being able to assist with mechanical & plumbing works if required on site.

Experience in Air Source Heat Pumps would be desirable and additional training on this can be provided.

Health and safety awareness.

Skills & Qualifications Required

Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and electrical plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories)

Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems.

Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and HVAC installations, including issuing written compliance paperwork.

Must be competent in working on CAFM system and using tablet for logging on to jobs and completing compliance paperwork.

The Air Conditioning engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, our client is looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focussed.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Approved A/C Apprenticeship with minimum full A/C NVQ Level 2 qualifications AND F-Gas.
