CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to support a global facilities management organisation in Manchester and surrounding areas.

You will maintain, service, and troubleshoot a range of HVAC systems, with on-call responsibilities and a strong focus on safety and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has proven experience in the FM sector, holds F-Gas Cat 1, a full UK driving licence, and solid diagnostic skills for HVAC equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry.
• Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot air conditioning systems including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils and replacing filters
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime
• Conduct inspections and assess HVAC systems to identify issues and propose solutions
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and contractors for complex repairs and upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Manchester - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Blue Chip & Data Centres

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience of pressure leak tests, compressor changes and braising.

This is a mobile role, covering Manchester & surrounding areas.

Package

• Competitive salary between £42,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed)

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment
